JEL-Co, ("JEL-Co," "we," "us," or "our") uses information to respond to inquiries, provide services, and coordinate work. This policy explains our information practices and your privacy and communication choices.

This policy covers www.jel-co.com, its forms, and the JEL-Co Operations Updates text messaging program for customers, employees, and contractors. Separate privacy notices may apply to other services or activities when provided to you.

Information we collect

Information you provide: your name, email address, telephone number, company, service or jobsite address, project details, appointment requests, and information or documents you include in forms or correspondence.

Messaging information: your enrolled mobile number, messages, delivery information, communication preferences, and records of consent, enrollment, and opt-out requests.

Website information: IP address, browser and device details, pages visited, referring pages, approximate location inferred from IP address, and cookie data. This can be personal information when reasonably linked to you.

Please do not send Social Security numbers, payment card details, passwords, or other sensitive information through ordinary website forms or text messages.

How we use information

Respond to inquiries and prepare requested quotes or service arrangements.

Coordinate job assignments, schedules, appointments, deliveries, and customer service.

Operate, troubleshoot, secure, and improve our website and communications.

Our operational SMS program is for the messages described at enrollment. Joining that program does not authorize promotional texts or messages from another company.

Additional protection for mobile information and SMS consent

We do not share mobile information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in data and consent are not sold, transferred, or shared to authorize another company to send messages.

SMS enrollment and consent records are excluded from routine sharing with project participants. Contracted providers may process those records on our behalf only as needed to operate and support our messaging program, document compliance, or meet legal obligations. Our other sharing provisions do not authorize third-party marketing or the transfer of SMS consent.

Cookies and website technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the website, remember preferences, and understand website use. Embedded forms or other third-party tools may also collect technical information or set cookies when you interact with them.

We explain any denial. To appeal, email info@jel-co.com with the subject "Privacy Appeal." We will review the decision and provide further information required by law, including regulator contact information. We do not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.

Retention and security

We retain information as reasonably needed for the purposes described here and applicable legal requirements. We keep consent and opt-out records to document permission and prevent unwanted messages. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the information we handle. No system or transmission is completely secure. If an incident requires notification under applicable law, we will provide that notification.

Children and third-party websites

Our website and messaging program are intended for business and service communications. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information.

Changes and contact

We post the effective date of policy updates and provide additional notice or obtain new consent when required. Updates do not themselves authorize new messaging purposes or override your existing choices.
